You will see that the star has several special, interactive nodes instead of standard curve nodes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>These special nodes have specific functions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Inner Node:<\/strong> Click and drag this node to adjust the <strong>Ray Size<\/strong> (the sharpness\/length of the points).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Outer Rotational Node:<\/strong> Use this node to change the <strong>Start Angle<\/strong> or rotation of the star.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Bounding Box Nodes:<\/strong> Drag these nodes to change the overall <strong>Size and Proportion<\/strong> of the shape.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Center Node:<\/strong> Click and drag the node at the very center of the star to <strong>re-position<\/strong> it on the design canvas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Part 3: Converting a Star to Curves for Manual Editing<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If you need to manually edit the outline of the star point-by-point, you must first convert it into a standard curve object.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Select the star shape you want to edit manually.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use the &#8220;Convert to Curves&#8221; function (typically found in the right-click menu or under a &#8220;Tools&#8221; or &#8220;Arrange&#8221; menu).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Important Note:<\/strong> After you convert the star into curves, it is no longer a special shape object.
